  《國外優(yōu)質職業(yè)教育資源教學用書:電子商務概論》有以下特點:(1)專家評選,具有權威性。高等教育出版社邀請清華大學等知名院校信息領域專家以及北京聯合大學信息學院等國家級“十五” 規(guī)劃IT領域重點課題承擔學校、教育部高職高專精品專業(yè)建設項目院校的專家、教授,成立了引進教材專家組,設立“國外優(yōu)質職業(yè)教育教材引進’與借鑒”研究課題,從國外教材與國內職業(yè)教育教材的比較和專業(yè)適用性等方面進行研究,經過認真遴選和評議,從湯姆森學習出版集團(Thomson Learning)推薦的60余本教材中精選出了這套教材,具有一定的權威性。(2)采用最新版本,注重體現高職高專教育特色和教材的立體化建設思想。比如,《NewPerspectives on Computer Concepts 6ed》,中譯名為《計算機導論(第6版)》,這本書是2003年2月最新出版的,最新版本的采用有利于學生了解IT業(yè)的最新動向和最新技術;精選的每本教材都配備了大量的應用實例、上機實驗、互動操作練習及測試等內容,體現了國外職業(yè)教育教材的顯著特色;除引進主教材外,還相應地引進了教學輔助光盤、CAI課件、網上教學資源等其他教學資源,力圖為使用者提供一套完整的教學解決方案。(3)采用雙語版權引進方式。在對全書進行原版影印的同時,配有針對主要內容的中文編譯。這樣,既保持了原版教材的“原汁原味”,又便于教師和學生閱讀和理解。此外,在引進教材過程中遵循質優(yōu)和價廉的原則,雖然有些教材采用彩色印刷,但在價格上與國內職業(yè)教育教材相當,不給教師和學生增加更多的經濟負擔。
