　　作者簡介：Luis Palau was born in the provijce of Buenos Aires，Argentian in 1934.He attended Saint Alaban's College，a British boarding school in Argentina，part of the Canmbridge University Overseas Program.In 1961，he completed Graduate Program，Multnomah School of the Bible（now Multnomah Biblical Seminary，Portland，Oregon）.Among the honors he received are：Honorary doctorate of divinity degrees from Talbot Theological Seminary in La Mirada，California;Wheaton College in Illinots;and Geore Fox College in Newberg，Oregon as well as Honorary doctorate of theology degree from Mariano Galvez Universtigy in Guatemala City.Mr.Palau committed his life to Jesus Christ at age 12.At age 18，began preching on weekends while working at an Argentine bank.By 1957，he and several other young men organized a tent evangelis and radio ministry in Argentina.Mr.Palau has published 45 booklets in English and Spanish，including Hight Definition Life（Revell Publishing，a division of Baker Publishing，2005），It's a God Thing （Doubleday，2001），Where Is God When Bad Things Happen？（Doubleday，1999），God Is Relevant（Doubleday，1997）and The Only Hope for America（Grossway Books，1996）.

　　趙啟正，1940年生于北京。1963年畢業(yè)于中國科技大學核物理專業(yè)。曾在北京中國核工業(yè)部第二研究設計院、航天部上海廣播器材廠工作二十年，任教授級高級工程師、副廠長等職。曾多次榮獲上海市和航天部勞動模范、先進工作者稱號，并獲三項發(fā)明專利。歷任上海市工業(yè)委員會黨委副書記，中共上海市委常委、組織部長、上海市副市長兼上海浦東新區(qū)黨工委書記及管委會主任。1998年調任國務院新聞辦公室主任。現(xiàn)任全國政協(xié)外事委員會副主任、中國人民大學新聞學院院長。已出版的著作有：《新世紀？新浦東》（復旦大學出版社，1994年）、《向世界說明中國――趙啟正演講談話錄》（新世界出版社，2005年）、《中國人眼中的美國和美國人》（五洲傳播出版社，2005年）、《向世界說明中國――趙啟正的溝通藝術》（新世界出版社，2006年）。
