  China Chants II與China Chants工在每課的結(jié)構(gòu)上相似,均包含一篇以chant形式出現(xiàn)的課文和若干對(duì)應(yīng)的語(yǔ)言練習(xí)。但本書(shū)又與第一冊(cè)不盡相同:首先,全書(shū)以語(yǔ)言功能為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)劃分成11個(gè)單元;其次,語(yǔ)言練習(xí)擴(kuò)展成了5個(gè)項(xiàng)目,分別是(1)聽(tīng)力訓(xùn)練(7rue or False);(2)語(yǔ)音練(Focus on Sound);(3)語(yǔ)言要點(diǎn)(Focus on Form);(4)語(yǔ)言功能(Focus on Function);(5)語(yǔ)言應(yīng)用(Interactive Activities)。教學(xué)過(guò)程建議分以下兩個(gè)階段進(jìn)行:(1)語(yǔ)言能力的培養(yǎng)(skill development)和(2)語(yǔ)言的實(shí)際應(yīng)用(skill using)。語(yǔ)言能力培養(yǎng)階段包括:課前預(yù)備活動(dòng)(warm—up),聽(tīng)錄音理解課文(1istening comprehension),朗讀和背誦(reading out loud and recitation),以及語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)(1anguage study)。語(yǔ)言應(yīng)用階段包括:功能練習(xí)(functional practice),情景對(duì)話(huà)練習(xí)(situational dialogue),語(yǔ)言應(yīng)用練習(xí)(role play and dramatization),小組討論(group work)和個(gè)人/小組研究項(xiàng)目(task—and—project—based learning)。

作者簡(jiǎn)介

  Carolyn Graham紐約大學(xué)教授,曾先后任教于哈佛大學(xué)、哥倫比亞大學(xué),現(xiàn)在全世界各地進(jìn)行教師培訓(xùn)工作。Graham教授是Jazz Chants教學(xué)法的創(chuàng)始人,創(chuàng)作了大量以Jazz Chants教學(xué)法理念為指導(dǎo)編寫(xiě)的英語(yǔ)教材。Frank Tang(唐力行)博士,現(xiàn)任紐約大學(xué)英語(yǔ)為第二語(yǔ)言教育(TESOL)系主任,教授。他在中國(guó)和美國(guó)從事了30多年的英語(yǔ)教育和教師培訓(xùn)工作,并著有多本學(xué)術(shù)專(zhuān)著和英語(yǔ)教材。David Shroeder,紐約大學(xué)爵士音樂(lè)系主任,音樂(lè)制作人,他在紐約大學(xué)開(kāi)設(shè)的爵士樂(lè)課程享有盛譽(yù)。
