China Chants II與China Chants工在每課的結(jié)構(gòu)上相似，均包含一篇以chant形式出現(xiàn)的課文和若干對(duì)應(yīng)的語(yǔ)言練習(xí)。但本書(shū)又與第一冊(cè)不盡相同：首先，全書(shū)以語(yǔ)言功能為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)劃分成11個(gè)單元；其次，語(yǔ)言練習(xí)擴(kuò)展成了5個(gè)項(xiàng)目，分別是（1）聽(tīng)力訓(xùn)練（7rue or False）；（2）語(yǔ)音練（Focus on Sound）；（3）語(yǔ)言要點(diǎn)（Focus on Form）；（4）語(yǔ)言功能（Focus on Function）；（5）語(yǔ)言應(yīng)用（Interactive Activities）。教學(xué)過(guò)程建議分以下兩個(gè)階段進(jìn)行：（1）語(yǔ)言能力的培養(yǎng)（skill development）和（2）語(yǔ)言的實(shí)際應(yīng)用（skill using）。語(yǔ)言能力培養(yǎng)階段包括：課前預(yù)備活動(dòng)（warm—up），聽(tīng)錄音理解課文（1istening comprehension），朗讀和背誦（reading out loud and recitation），以及語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)（1anguage study）。語(yǔ)言應(yīng)用階段包括：功能練習(xí)（functional practice），情景對(duì)話(huà)練習(xí)（situational dialogue），語(yǔ)言應(yīng)用練習(xí)（role play and dramatization），小組討論（group work）和個(gè)人／小組研究項(xiàng)目（task—and—project—based learning）。
