本書(shū)共有十章，包括采購(gòu)計(jì)劃、對(duì)供應(yīng)商的考察與調(diào)研、詢(xún)價(jià)、談判、訂貨、付款、交貨與裝運(yùn)、合同、保險(xiǎn)和索賠。每一章中有七個(gè)板塊：Core Module，Background Information，F(xiàn)unctional Devices，Exercises，Brainstorming，Useful Expressions和Keys to the Exercises。Core Module中一般有若干個(gè)部分，通過(guò)會(huì)話、信函、短文等形式介紹采購(gòu)過(guò)程的真實(shí)場(chǎng)景；Background Information提供了主題的專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)；Functional Devices則列出了貿(mào)易過(guò)程中常用的表達(dá)。同時(shí)本書(shū)配了練習(xí)（Exercises）為讀者提供專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)與語(yǔ)言技能相結(jié)合的訓(xùn)練，以加強(qiáng)學(xué)習(xí)效果。在頭腦風(fēng)暴（Brainstorming）中，本書(shū)引入一些開(kāi)放性的問(wèn)題，需要讀者在專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)的基礎(chǔ)上運(yùn)用發(fā)散思維來(lái)解決，以擴(kuò)展思維視角。本書(shū)在每章中還提供了與主題相關(guān)的術(shù)語(yǔ)。附錄中是汽車(chē)配件名稱(chēng)的中英文對(duì)照以及一些重要的縮寫(xiě)表達(dá)。
