晏陽(yáng)初畫(huà)傳（漢英）

　　晏陽(yáng)初博士（1890—1990）是享譽(yù)海內(nèi)外的著名平民教育家，是一位愛(ài)國(guó)的知識(shí)分子。自上世紀(jì)20年代至40年代，他致力于推行農(nóng)村平民教育，作出了卓越貢獻(xiàn)。50年代，晏陽(yáng)初博士擔(dān)任聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織特別顧問(wèn)和國(guó)際平民教育委員會(huì)主席，他將具有中國(guó)特色的“定縣經(jīng)驗(yàn)”成功地推向了世界這個(gè)大舞臺(tái)，并于1967年在菲律賓創(chuàng)辦了國(guó)際鄉(xiāng)村改造學(xué)院。他的平民教育理論和實(shí)踐，是中國(guó)人對(duì)世界文化的又一貢獻(xiàn)。 \n晏陽(yáng)初的平民教育思想是由中國(guó)人在中國(guó)的大地上創(chuàng)造的自成體系的理論。它不僅對(duì)中國(guó)鄉(xiāng)村建設(shè)具有積極的意義，而且因其所具有的科學(xué)性和普遍性而被世界所認(rèn)同，最終演變成為一場(chǎng)世界性的運(yùn)動(dòng)。晏陽(yáng)初也因此受到世界范圍內(nèi)的廣泛尊崇。 \nDr. Y.C. James Yen （1890-1990） was a civilian educator well-known at home and abroad. He was a patriotic intellectual. From the 1920s to the 1940s， he devoted himself to promoting education among rural civilians and made outstanding contributions in this regard. \nIn the 1950s， he became UNESCO special adviser and president of the International Council for Civilian Education. From then on， he applied the Dingxian experience to other parts of the world， and set up the International Institute of Rural Construction （IIRR） in the Philippines in 1967. His theory and practice of civilian education constitute another contribution of Chinese people to world culture. \nDr. Y.C. James Yen’s thought on civilian education is a self-contained theory created by the Chinese people on the land of China. It is not only significant for China’s rural reconstruction but also recognized by the world due to its scientific and universal properties， finally evoking a worldwide movement.

　　晏鴻國(guó)，副研究館員，筆名鴻愚，號(hào)三香堂主，四川省巴中市巴州區(qū)（原巴中縣）人。四川省社會(huì)科學(xué)界聯(lián)合會(huì)會(huì)員，四川省作家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員。西南大學(xué)中國(guó)鄉(xiāng)村建設(shè)學(xué)院名譽(yù)院長(zhǎng)，巴中市巴州區(qū)晏陽(yáng)初博物館名譽(yù)館長(zhǎng)，浙江師范大學(xué)農(nóng)村研究中心特邀研究員。主要著作有《晏陽(yáng)初傳略》（天地出版社2005年版）、《做世界新民》（五洲傳播出版社2010年版）、《民國(guó)鄉(xiāng)村建設(shè)思想研究》（合作），發(fā)表了數(shù)十篇晏陽(yáng)初及鄉(xiāng)村建設(shè)研究的論文，參與和協(xié)助拍攝的晏陽(yáng)初專題片，擔(dān)任電影《晏陽(yáng)初》歷史顧問(wèn)。
