　　This standard is drafted in accordance with rules in GB/T 1.1-2009.This standard replaces TB/T2514-1995 Resistance Test Methods for Electric Locomotive.The main changes with respect to the previous edition are as follows：——Normative references have been added （see Chapter two）.EMU test methods for basic unit resistance in coasting have been added （see 6.4.2）.The requirement that the test line shall be in good status and that for line re-inspection has been deleted （see 3.2 of 1995 version）.——The requirement that that sampling time for coasting method normally vary between 10 s and 12 s has been deleted （see 7.2.2 of 1995 version）.The requirements for wind speed have been revised （see 3.4 of 1995 version）.——The test methods for basic unit resistance have been revised，but the calculationapproaches of the previous standard are adopted （see 7.4， 6.5 of 1995 version）.This standard is managed by the Research Institute of Standards and Measurement， Ministry of Railways.This standard is mainly drafted by the Locomotive and Car Research Institute of China Academy of Railway Sciences.CSR Qingdao Sifang Co.， Ltd.， Changchun Railway Vehicles Co.， Ltd.， Tangshan Railway Vehicle Co.， Ltd.， and CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co.， Ltd. also contribute to the drafting of this standard.This standard is mainly drafted by Zhang Bo， Lu Yang， Li Jiebo and Su Faming.Deng Guimei， Liu Fenghua， Song Liqun and Kang Mingming also contribute to the drafting of this standard.This standard is to replace the previous edition TB/T 2514-1995.
