近年來，語言學(xué)研究發(fā)展迅猛，新成果不斷涌現(xiàn)。鑒于此，上海外語教育出版社邀請(qǐng)語言學(xué)界知名專家從約翰·本杰明斯出版公司（John Benjamins Publishing Company）等國際著名出版社推出的多種語言學(xué)期刊中精選具代表性或前沿意義的優(yōu)秀論文，按主題編為不同分冊(cè)，并撰寫中文導(dǎo)讀，組成“語言學(xué)國際學(xué)術(shù)期刊論文選”叢書，以幫助讀者了解語言學(xué)領(lǐng)域新成果和發(fā)展動(dòng)態(tài)，促進(jìn)語言學(xué)研究的發(fā)展?！墩Z言學(xué)國際學(xué)術(shù)期刊論文選：語言對(duì)比》從國際知名對(duì)比語言學(xué)刊物《語言對(duì)比》（Languages in Contrast）中精選了若干有代表性的文章匯編成集，按其研究性質(zhì)分為“理論與方法”“漢外對(duì)比”“外外對(duì)比”“書評(píng)”四個(gè)部分，涵蓋詞匯、句法、語義、語篇、語用、文化對(duì)比等各個(gè)領(lǐng)域，從不同角度展示了對(duì)比語言學(xué)的新研究動(dòng)態(tài)和未來發(fā)展趨勢(shì)，旨在及時(shí)向我國讀者介紹語言對(duì)比和翻譯的各項(xiàng)研究成果，進(jìn)一步促進(jìn)對(duì)比語言學(xué)的學(xué)科建設(shè)和學(xué)術(shù)交流。
