The weather in China is very complex and changeable， and various kinds of disaster weather and high-impact weather occur frequently. This book comprehensively and systematically introduce the characteristics of weather and climate， seasons， meteorological resources and disasters in China; the features and the influences and activities of the eastern Asian monsoon; the major weather systems such as eastern Asian cyclones， subtropical high pressure， and plateau systems; the theories and diagnostic methods for analyzing and forecasting of the disaster weather and high-impact weather processes such as the cold waves， rainstorms， severe convective weather， typhoon and tropical systems， as well as the high impact weather including freezing weather， fog， haze， sandstorm and summer high temperature， strong winds and the environmental problems etc.
